the last soma show was kind of dissapointing. fuck the no ones, fuck 6 under par, mehh famous last words, mehh yarbrough (even though it was nice seeing those guys again. i missed them), and sadly enough, mehh soma. the music wasn't as good as it used to be, mainly because tito lost his voice and is an absolutly fucking atrocious singer now. actually you know what, the music wasn't bad. it pretty much was just him fucking it up. also the alcohol is retardedly expensive at club 101, and the bouncers were fucking assholes. that said, i still had a really good time somehow. it was a very fun show overall. i can't wait to see the animal collective and of montreal there. i'll just get trashed before hand this time. there is no fucking chance that i will ever pay fucking 11 dollars for 2 shots of jack. especially for animal collective. i've heard being a litle messed up makes their live shows even more enjoyable. maybe not so much for of montreal. maybe just a few beers for that one.
p.s. everyone go see superbad next friday. you know its going to be fucking hilarious.

i'm tired of people contacting me when they need something and disappearing when their problems have dissipated. i'm not a fucking psychiatrist. i'm supposed to be a friend. i'm not being payed for my services, and i don't fucking like being used...
i'm getting too old for this shit...
in other news, i quit that shithole job at target. i loathed it there. i work at starbucks now. the money sucks, but i like the job a lot better so it balances itself out i guess. come see me sometime. i like visitors, and i like giving people free/discretely discounted stuff.
my love isn't going to move after all, so i'm ecstatic about that. we're still going to move in together in a few months, and then in a couple of years its off to oregon. i love the fact that we both have a dream state to live in. neither one of us has to settle. we both love it there.
i've come in to better contact with a lot of new/old friends lately, which is very nice. i needed new friends really badly. thom and kristen are really fun to be with, as is louie and his wife, chris, sara and andrew and my new co-workers.
things are decent overall. i've said this before, but i sincerely hope to start posting more again in the near future.

the deftones are pretty much the only band that i will still buy cds of these days. saturday night wrist comes out next tuesday, and i'll be seeing them play their new stuff this saturday before it comes out...i am a very pleased panda right now:}

in other news, i fucking hate working at supertarget. i've had to stay every night that i close until 3 in the morning at the earliest, if not 5, 6 or even fucking 7 picking up after the inconsiderate sacks of shit that trash the store every fucking day. its near impossible for non assholes to figure out where anything is in there because most everything is burried underneath something that doesn't belong there. we're managed by fucking retards who keep lying to us about hiring new people to relieve some of the work.

i am currently downloading the 15th season of bob ross's the joy of painting, aka the tranquilizer of the gods. never again will a night remain sleepless. his serenely monotonous voice knocks me out about 10 minutes in everytime.
i've finally cracked the 100 dvd mark. some may be going "barely?!" but i'm a snob and most of these consist of ebayed foreign movies and special editions. the one of which i've been watching the most lately is v for vendetta. god damn, that was such a great movie. i didn't expect anything of it at first either. i love intelligent action movies. i'm hoping to get the new criterions of brazil and seven samurai nest month, so hopefully i can come up with the 100 that both of them are gonna run me together by the time they come out.
i have to go to community for one LAST semester, and then hopefully i can finally get around to being a teacher.

i am so incredibly sad right now. i got written up fucking TWICE at work today! one time was for using my phone. the stupid fucking general manager dickface cought me talking to jess, and sounded all buddy buddy and shit about it. he even had a smile on his face and called me "bud" when he told me to give him my phone for the rest of the day. i didn't think i was gonna get fucking written up for it, man! he was fucking smiling for christ's sake! the other time was because i left the store on my break to pick up jess, and apparently despite seeing me get into my fucking car and drive away from up close, the manager didn't know that i left and i got yelled at, but once again i didn't think i was gonna get written up. now when i was getting the write-ups, the dickface felt the need to pull over my best friend's girlfriend to listen to him fucking yell at me, so not only was i incredibly sad by the fact that i'm probably going to get fired, but i was insanely embarrassed. i don't like being yelled at in front of people, damnit...
jess tried REALLY hard to make me feel better, and it helped a lot but i'm still just kinda depressed. fuck it, i had a shit day. everyone has them every now and then, i guess.
i still wish i could get the balls to quit, though. words can't describe how much i LOATH ihop. they really can't.

so the guy that jess was together with right before me got his car fucked up, and of course all his piece of shit friends think i did it. i'm not going to go into details as to why, but it goes without saying that i have a horrendous history with that douchebag. i WISH that i could take the credit for doing it, but sadly i had nothing to do with it. and in all seriousness, i would vastly prefer beating the living shit out of him as opposed to fucking with his car, and i would have done it a long time ago if i was planning on it. i'm pretty sure that his gang of greasy neo goths are going to do something to me, but whatever. it'll give me a reason to press charges and get them into trouble.
i work from 4 in the afternoon until 4 in the morning on friday. fuck me, i hate ihop...

i don't remember being this excited over a movie. i fucking adore the silent hill series, but i always thought that the slow pace and excellent stories would make for a better movie in the long run. holy shit...i can't fucking wait.
watch this behind the scenes thing if you're even remotely as excited as i am. its like 15 minutes long, so be ready to sit for a while.
